Easy Grenadine
- 14 oz pomegranate juice
- 7 oz water
- 7 oz sugar
- 1 oz 80 proof clear rum or vodka
- Combine sugar and water on the stovetop just until sugar is melted (don’t let it boil). Add juice when it’s cooled and bottle.
Easy Orgeat
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- Place in saucepan over low heat until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally
- Allow to cool slightly then add
- 1 tablespoon almond extract
- ½ teaspoon orange flower water
- ½ teaspoon rosewater
- 1 oz 80 proof clear rum or vodka
- Stir to combine, pour into bottle, keep refrigerated
Ginger Syrup
- Peel and thinly slice a knob of ginger about 3″ long.
- Add to a saucepan with 2 cups of water and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, cover and allow to sit for several hours or overnight.
- Strain and add enough water to make two cups.
- Return to saucepan, add 2 cups sugar and heat on low, stirring until combined (don’t boil).
- Cool, add 1 oz clear rum or vodka, and bottle your fabulous syrup!
